A Message from Our Founder
Hi, I'm Stephanie
Founder · Registered Nurse · Community Advocate
For over 13 years, I've served my community as a registered nurse, leader, and advocate. Throughout my career, I've witnessed one powerful truth: communities grow stronger when people feel seen, supported, and connected.
The idea for The Black Business Directory was born from a simple question: "Why is it still so hard to find and support Black-owned businesses?"
Across the country, Black entrepreneurs are creating, innovating, and building legacies — yet many amazing businesses remain difficult to discover. I realized our community didn't just need another list. We needed a central place. A trusted resource. A movement.
That vision became The Black Business Directory — a platform created to bridge the gap between Black-owned businesses and the customers who want to support them.
